General Terms and Conditions for Accommodation Services at Apartments Villa Aura.

1. INTRODUCTION

Apartments Villa Aura provides accommodation services by following the General Terms and Conditions, with the confirmed reservation period.

2. BOOKING AND PAYMENT

Inquiries and bookings of accommodation can be made electronically or directly on the Villa Aura official website. By confirming the reservation, guests acknowledge and agree to these General Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
All information required for the booking process must be provided accurately by the guest.
The reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of the total reservation amount. Payments will be processed directly to the provided bank account upon booking the reservation, and the full amount will be charged at that time.

3. TOURIST TAX

Tourist Tax, as required by Croatian law, is included in the accommodation price. No additional payment for this tax will be required from the guest.

4. PRICE OF ACCOMMODATION

The accommodation price includes services as specified in the booking confirmation. In agreement with the homeowner, special services can be requested during booking and may incur additional charges.
Prices are quoted and charged in EUR. Apartments Villa Aura reserves the right to adjust prices due to changes in the exchange rate or the service provider’s pricing. Guests who have paid the reservation are guaranteed the price stated in their booking confirmation.
The price is approximately 10% lower than the price defined for distributions and sales channels.
If more guests arrive than are specified in the reservation, the service provider reserves the right to refuse accommodation or charge additional fees based on the price list.

5. CATEGORIZATION AND SERVICE DESCRIPTION

Accommodation units at Apartments Villa Aura are described based on official categorization.

6. APARTMENTS VILLA AURA’s RIGHT TO CHANGES AND CANCELLATION

Apartments Villa Aura reserves the right to modify or cancel a reservation due to unforeseen circumstances beyond its control (see Article 12).
If no alternative accommodation is available, Apartments Villa Aura will notify the guest at least 7 days before arrival and provide a full refund. If no substitute is available on the arrival day, Apartments Villa Aura will assist in locating other accommodation options.

7. GUESTS RIGHT TO CHANGES AND CANCELLATION

Guests wishing to change or cancel a reservation must notify Apartments Villa Aura in writing (by email). Changes are subject to availability and must be requested at least 14 days before arrival.
If a requested change is not possible and results in cancellation, the cancellation policy applies.
If a reservation is canceled within the cancellation period of 14 days, the reservation amount is non-refundable. If the guest does not arrive by midnight on the arrival date and does not notify Apartments Villa Aura, the reservation is considered canceled, and the reservation amount will be forfeited.

8. OBLIGATIONS OF VILLA AURA

Apartments Villa Aura is obligated to provide the agreed-upon services and ensure guests satisfaction following industry standards.
In cases of unforeseen circumstances (Article 12), Article 6 applies.

9. GUESTS OBLIGATIONS

The guest is required to:
– Possess valid travel documents and visas if required.
– Comply with Croatian customs regulations and laws
– Follow house rules and maintain respectful behavior.
– If requested to present proof of payment (voucher) upon arrival.
– The guests are liable for any damage caused to the accommodation or its contents and agrees to cover associated repair or replacement costs.

10. LUGGAGE

Apartments Villa Aura is not responsible for the theft, loss, or damage of guests’ luggage or personal belongings.

11. COMPLAINTS

If the provided service does not meet expectations, guests must report issues immediately upon arrival to the Apartments Villa Aura hosts. Guests must cooperate in good faith to resolve any problems.
If the issue cannot be resolved satisfactorily, guests may submit a written complaint. Compensation is limited to the cost of the service in question and cannot exceed the amount paid.

12. NOTE

Apartments Villa Aura is not liable for circumstances caused by conditions beyond its control, including wars, acts of terrorism, riots, strikes, natural disasters, restrictions by local authorities, death or illness of the service provider, and similar events.
